Our parish directory is woefully out of date. The last one was produced almost four years ago. An up to date directory is vital, so we need to know that your information is correct. If you have started coming to St Luke’s since 2006, or have changed any of your details since then, please let us know. Over the coming weeks there will be a form at the back of the church for you to enter your details. Since we last updated the directory, a great many more people have acquired email addresses. It would be great to have emails as well as phone numbers, so please leave details if you can. Email Music group
This group still has the privilege of leading the music for worship on the 4th Sunday at the 10.00 a.m. service - the All -Age service. As it is for God's glory (and no-one else's ), we always have a practice the week before the service, as well as at 9.00 a.m. on the morning itself, so that we can do it as well as we can. We have had a few changes of folk coming and going ( for various reasons called life ! ), but we are a prayerful and committed group of Christians who love the lord, and want to use whatever musical talents we have for His glory.
If you would like to be part of this, you would be most welcome to join us - before you say anything, it is a VERY small minority of people who cannot sing in tune, so it is highly unlikely to be you !! - if it is, and you want to be part of the group, we always need percussion players - as the psalm says, praise the Lord on the cymbals. We do enjoy using our God-given talents in this way, and we hope that is communicated in the way we lead the music, as we do it from the heart, which is where we should do everything for God.
